At Plastic Surgery Associates in Cape Cod, we design individualized skin care programs to reverse the effects of aging and sun damage. We have a variety of skin care products available, as well as the instruction and supervision of a licensed aesthetician.

In Cape Cod, the Obagi Nu-derm system is a complete skin care/restoration program. It is an at-home treatment program that includes exfoliants, toners, retinoids, and moisturizers. It is very effective for the treatment of hyper-pigmentation and sun-damaged skin. Often, at-home treatment is preparatory to a laser skin resurfacing procedure or to the Obagi blue peel. This is a controlled, trichloracetic acid skin peel performed by a licensed aesthetician under the supervision of Cape Cod board certified plastic surgeon Dr. Rheingold. It achieves superior and consistent results in skin restoration. The Obagi skin maintenance program is then individually designed to continue the enhancement.
