About the Physician

Dr. Laurence Rheingold

Laurence Rheingold, M.D., graduated from Queens College and received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Boston University School of Medicine. Dr. Rheingold completed his general surgery residency at the University Hospital in Boston and his plastic surgery training at the Indiana University Medical Center in Indianapolis, Indiana. He completed a surgical fellowship at the Royal Infirmary in Edinburgh, Scotland, as well as a hand fellowship at the University of Louisville in Kentucky. Dr. Rheingold has been board certified in plastic surgery since 1978. He is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgery, the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the Massachusetts Society of Plastic Surgery and he is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

Dr. Rheingold started his plastic surgery practice on Cape Cod in 1977. He has broad experience in all aspects of plastic, reconstructive and hand surgery and is particularly interested in cosmetic and laser surgery. He has published articles on breast and laser surgery in the plastic surgery medical journals.
