BROW LIFT
Brow lift or forehead lift is an operation that can minimize some of the most visible signs of aging such as drooping eyebrows, hooding over the eyelids, and removal or softening of forehead wrinkles and furrows. In brow lift surgery the muscles and skin that cause these problems are removed or altered to smooth the forehead skin. The result can be a more alert, more animated and youthful appearance. The surgery can be performed with an "open" technique in a which a skin incision is placed in the hair-bearing portion of the scalp and then the forehead skin is stretched upward to "lift" the sagging eyebrows. Many times the surgery can be done endoscopically with multiple tiny incisions through which the forehead is elevated and stabilized in a more youthful position. Healing takes about 7-10 days And most patients can return to work in less time. |
