Breast reduction surgery is usually performed for the relief of these symptoms. The best candidates for this surgery are those women who are mature enough to understand the surgery and to have realistic expectations about the results.

There are a variety of surgical techniques used to reshape and to reduce the female breast. After removal of the excess breast tissue and skin, the breast are reshaped and repositioned to a more aesthetic appearance.
