Eyelid Surgery Patient 1
This patient is a 46 year old woman who underwent upper and lower transcutaneous blepharoplasty for moderate skin excess of her eyelids as well as moderate amounts of peri-orbital fat deposits. The After photos were taken 4 weeks after surgery. The scars are still new and show reddish in color. This will fade considerably over the next 6 months.
Is Eyelid Surgery for Me?
Eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty) is an operation to remove excess skin and fatty tissue from the upper and lower eyelids. Blepharoplasty can improve drooping skin and bagginess around the eyes. It can sometimes help those whose vision has been impaired by sagging skin or fat. Blepharoplasty will not remove crow’s feet or other wrinkles, eliminate dark circles under the eyes, or lift ptotic eyelids.
